We can't pay for the goernment services we have, they must be cut. Sometimes you just have to do without the things you can't afford. You can only raise taxes so much and the citizens will cut back on the goods and services they purchase thus decreasing tax revenue. Politicians don't want to put people out of work but sometimes you just have to do it. It's part of being fiscally responsible. <br />Show some courage, stop passing the buck, take your lumps like the rest of us and you'll get my vote.Mike J.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-385949685214359506.post-60629714805053886182010-02-09T13:22:23.249-05:002010-02-09T13:22:23.249-05:00It's "The Road NOT Taken"It's "The Road NOT Taken"Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06135928152816218295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-385949685214359506.post-31415614388013339492010-02-07T21:51:01.951-05:002010-02-07T21:51:01.951-05:00It is a shame that the legislative leaders are not...It is a shame that the legislative leaders are not leading on this issue. Maybe the gubernatorial candidates, both parties, can come up with a plan, promulgate it, and challenge the current legislature to implement it early. That would really be some leadership.wtfdnucsailorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15747284057290492947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-385949685214359506.post-91626024015575812252010-02-06T15:19:32.914-05:002010-02-06T15:19:32.914-05:00It's not just the millionaires, unfortunately....It's not just the millionaires, unfortunately. So what if a few of them move out of state - which research shows won't happen much.Jonathan Kantrowitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13919729222396777240noreply@blogger.com
